In early 2000s I was fronting an indie rock band with my guitar tuned to DADGCD. We were always in search of the perfect over-tone rich chord change and our other guitarist David would also double on cornet playing sweet melody lines.
DIY at heart we invested in drummer Gideon’s Moonrock Studios to record ourselves and Mike the bass player was a tireless creator of inventive bass lines and promoter of the band. In fact, Mike cut up tonnes of photos to make the original run of CDs before giving in to colour photocopies later on!
